Challenge coins are basically a coin shape that is made using a particular type of metal similar to gold, silver, bronze, platinum or at times, a combination of any of these. Defacing the coin by any way possible is strictly prohibited such as boring a hole to make it a keychain and the likes nullify the value of the challenge coin. There are various units that aren’t enabling their members to bring the coins into their wallet instead, it has to be carried in the pouch and worn around the neck.
